Air freight is quoted at 1 to 7 days, and that wide range is about whether the goods go on a direct service or a connection rather than the distance. We tell you which one your cargo is on.

It is the registration New Zealand Customs uses to identify an importer. Your buyer needs one, along with a supplier code, for commercial imports valued at a thousand New Zealand dollars or more. Food for sale needs one regardless of value, and so does a motor vehicle regardless of value. Without it the entry cannot be lodged, so we confirm it before you book.

Yes. A motor vehicle needs a client code regardless of value, so a single personal car is not below any threshold. It catches people out often. We arrange it as part of the job rather than leaving you to find out at the port.

Yes. Used vehicles can be imported if they meet New Zealand safety, emissions, entry certification and biosecurity requirements. The vehicle must be clean and can be inspected on arrival, and cleaning is much easier to do properly in Dubai than to fix in Auckland. A client code is needed regardless of value. We could not verify any blanket maximum age. Send us the make, model, year and chassis number.

Biosecurity risk goods have to meet the import health standards set by the Ministry for Primary Industries, and some of those requirements have to be completed in the exporting country before shipment rather than on arrival. Used vehicles and machinery must be clean. That makes the treatment our job in Dubai, which is why we ask about the product before booking.

It depends on what you send, how big it is, and where in New Zealand it is going. We do not publish prices because every shipment is different. Sea freight is priced per container when you fill one, and per cubic metre when you share one. Air freight is priced on weight or size, whichever is greater. For the South Island we land at Lyttelton rather than trucking down from Auckland and across on the ferry.

Auckland for the upper North Island and the largest urban market. Tauranga for the central North Island, Hamilton and a good deal of the inland freight, because its rail and road connections reach further than most people expect. It is about a day or two behind Auckland on the water and often ahead once the inland leg is counted. Tell us the delivery town.

Lyttelton is the primary gateway for Christchurch and much of the South Island, and Christchurch airport handles international cargo directly. Coming in through Auckland and driving south means a ferry crossing that is worth avoiding.

Yes. We handle freight forwarding to New Zealand door to door. We collect the goods in Dubai, move them, clear them through customs and biosecurity, and bring them to your address. You deal with one company for the whole journey.

You can send as little as one box or one pallet. We put small shipments from different customers into one shared container. This is called LCL, or less than container load. Your goods load at Jebel Ali and come into Auckland. When you have more goods, you move up to your own full container, which is called FCL. We will tell you which one is cheaper.

Yes, at both ends, and the biosecurity side as well. We do customs clearance in Dubai, and the import entry plus the MPI requirements at the other end. Customs and biosecurity are separate authorities with separate requirements, and both have to be satisfied.

Yes. We collect anywhere in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and the rest of the UAE. We can also hold your goods in warehousing and storage in Dubai until you are ready to ship. On this lane that matters, because any pre-shipment cleaning or treatment can be done while the cargo is with us.

You may, and the timing rule is stricter than most. A household effects concession is available on used goods for people moving permanently, but you generally must have lived outside New Zealand for the full twenty-one months before arrival. A personal vehicle can qualify under a separate concession if you also personally owned and used it overseas for at least a year before departure or shipment.
