The item by item list matters, because customs clear personal effects against it. Fuel, gas cylinders, paint, aerosols and loose batteries cannot travel, and we give you the full list before packing day.

Yes. The car goes inside a container, sealed and protected, and we handle the export paperwork in Dubai. Honduras sets its own rules on vehicle age, specification and approval, and duty on a vehicle is worked out differently from general cargo, so tell us the make, model and year first and we will confirm what applies before you commit.

Only if it is ten years old or less. Ordinary import guidance prohibits motor vehicles over ten years old, and passenger buses over thirteen. Right hand drive vehicles and specified rebuilt or unsafe titles are also restricted. There is a separate vehicle nationalisation measure that has operated into 2026 covering older vehicles, which is not the ordinary rule, so do not plan around it without asking. Sea freight to Honduras takes about 41 days through Puerto Cortes, and that figure already includes handling and the inland leg rather than stopping at the quay. Air freight takes around 7 to 8 days because it connects rather than flying direct. We give you a date in writing when we quote.

It depends on what you send, how big it is, and where in Honduras it is going. We do not publish prices because every shipment is different. Sea freight to Honduras is priced per container when you fill one, and per cubic metre when you share one. Air freight to Honduras is priced on weight or size, whichever is greater. Send us the details and we send you a price in writing, usually the same day.

Puerto Cortes on the Caribbean is the principal container gateway and handles almost everything. Puerto Castilla serves Trujillo and the north east. San Lorenzo on the Gulf of Fonseca is the Pacific side option for Choluteca and the south, which most pages never mention. For air cargo we fly into San Pedro Sula or Palmerola.

Yes, San Lorenzo on the Gulf of Fonseca, and it is worth knowing about. We could not verify current Dubai container service to it, so we check what is running rather than assuming. For a delivery in Choluteca or the south it can save the road journey down from the Caribbean coast.

Not a universal one. Honduras has no single pre-shipment reference for every import. Agricultural and food products can need a permit from the agricultural health service, and health regulated products can need registration or approval from the health regulator, both arranged before the cargo ships. Send us the HS code and we will check.

San Pedro Sula for the industrial north, which is where most commercial air freight goes. Palmerola for Tegucigalpa and the capital region. Tell us the delivery town and we will pick.

Yes. We handle freight forwarding to Honduras door to door. We collect the goods in Dubai, move them, clear them through customs, and bring them to your address. You deal with one company for the whole journey.

You can send as little as one box or one pallet. We put small shipments from different customers into one shared container. This is called LCL, or less than container load. Your goods load at Jebel Ali and come into Puerto Cortes. When you have more goods, you move up to your own full container, which is called FCL. We will tell you which one is cheaper.

Yes. We move project cargo to Honduras as well. Big, heavy items go in open top or flat rack containers, or loose on the ship into Puerto Cortes. Send us the size and weight and the delivery town and we will work out the best way to move it.
