Every bill of lading carries two ports: where the cargo loads, and where it discharges. We load at Jebel Ali or another UAE port. Europe has 23 sea ports we use and 12 airports. They suit different cargo and different inland legs, so the loading port and the discharge port are worth choosing separately.

Before you ship

Import rules
for Europe.

Most of Europe runs on the same two rules, and we handle both for you. First, whoever is importing needs an EORI number. It is a free trading number, quick to get online, but nothing clears without it. Second, a safety filing has to go in before the ship loads in Dubai, not when it arrives. Filings get rejected for the same three reasons every time: a vague description of the goods, a missing or wrong product code, or a buyer EORI number that does not match. So we ask for the exact description, the code and the EORI before we book. If your product needs a CE mark we will tell you at the quote stage.

How much does shipping from Dubai to Europe cost?

It depends on what you send, how big it is, and where in Europe it is going. We do not publish prices because every shipment is different. Sea freight to Europe is priced per container when you fill one, and per cubic metre when you share one. Air freight to Europe is priced on weight or size, whichever is greater. Send us the details and we send you a price in writing, usually the same day.

Which European countries do you ship to?

All of them. Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Poland, the UK, Greece, Portugal, Austria, Czechia, Sweden, Denmark, Ireland, Romania and the rest. Tell us the country and city and we will quote it.

Which European ports do you ship to?

Rotterdam, Antwerp, Hamburg and Felixstowe in the north. Le Havre, Fos-sur-Mer, Genoa, Valencia and Piraeus in the Mediterranean. Mediterranean ports arrive sooner from Dubai, so for southern Europe they are usually the better choice.

What is an EORI number?

It is a free trading number used across the European Union. Whoever imports the goods needs one. It is quick to get online, but nothing clears without it, so we check it before we load.

What is the safety filing?

It is a set of details about your shipment that European customs want before the ship loads in Dubai, not when it arrives. We do it for you. Shipping lines enforce it, so a rejected filing means your container stays in Dubai rather than causing a problem later.

Why do safety filings get rejected?

Almost always one of three things: a vague description of the goods, a missing or wrong product code, or a buyer EORI number that does not match. That is why we ask for the exact description, the code and the EORI before we book.

What is a CE mark, and does my product need it?

It is a European safety mark. Many products need it before they can be sold in Europe, including electrical goods, toys and machinery. If yours does, it has to be in place before the goods arrive. Tell us the product and we will check.

Do you deliver door to door?

Yes. We handle freight forwarding to Europe door to door. We collect the goods in Dubai, move them, clear them through customs, and bring them to your address. You deal with one company for the whole journey.

Can I send a small shipment, or do I need a full container?

You can send as little as one box or one pallet. We put small shipments from different customers into one shared container. This is called LCL, or less than container load. When you have more goods, you move up to your own full container, which is called FCL. We will tell you which one is cheaper.

Can you ship a car from Dubai to Europe?

Yes, in a container or on a roll-on roll-off vessel. There are rules about emissions, tax and registration once it lands, and they vary by country. Send us the country, make, model and chassis number and we will explain what to expect.

Can I clear goods in one country and deliver to another?

Yes, and a lot of cargo does. It is a different customs and tax arrangement from a normal import, and it needs deciding before arrival rather than after. Tell us where the goods are actually going and who the importer is, and we will set it up correctly.

Do you handle customs clearance in Europe?

Yes, at both ends. We handle customs clearance in Dubai and customs clearance in Europe. You do not need to find your own clearing agent.

Can you collect the goods from my supplier in Dubai?

Yes. We collect anywhere in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and the rest of the UAE. We can also hold your goods in warehousing and storage in Dubai until you are ready to ship. That helps when you are buying from several suppliers and want everything to travel in one container.

Can you move my household goods to Europe?

Yes. We move full house moves and part loads. We pack, collect, move and deliver, and we handle the customs clearance so your things are not waiting on paperwork.
