Jebel Ali straight across the Strait of Hormuz into Shahid Rajaee, 1 to 3 days port to port, with more services than any other Iranian pair. It is the default gateway for almost anything not destined for Khuzestan, and containers can move inland by rail to the Sirjan or Aprin dry ports for clearance rather than at the quay. Iran is different from our other routes and we are open about that. Before we quote, we check the goods, the buyer and what the goods will be used for against the international rules that apply to us. Most ordinary commercial cargo is fine. Some things we cannot carry at all, and if that is the case we tell you at the start rather than after you have paid for anything. After that, the Iranian side needs the order registered before the goods ship, and regulated products need a conformity certificate. Your buyer handles the registration with their bank and ministry. Tell us what you are sending and we will give you a clear yes or no quickly.

Sea freight to Iran is priced per container when you fill one, and per cubic metre when you share one. Air freight to Iran is priced on weight or size, whichever is greater. Do you check shipments before accepting them?
Yes, every time. We check the goods, the buyer and the end use against the international rules that apply to us. Most ordinary commercial cargo is fine. If we cannot carry something, we tell you at the start rather than after you have committed money.
What is order registration?
It is a step your Iranian buyer completes before the goods ship, through their bank and the relevant ministry. Without it the goods cannot clear at the other end, so we confirm it is done before we load.
Do you deliver door to door?
Yes. We handle freight forwarding to Iran door to door. We collect the goods in Dubai, move them, clear them through customs, and bring them to your address. You deal with one company for the whole journey.
Can I send a small shipment, or do I need a full container?
You can send as little as one box or one pallet. We put small shipments from different customers into one shared container. This is called LCL, or less than container load. Your goods load at Jebel Ali and come into Bandar Abbas (Shahid Rajaee). When you have more goods, you move up to your own full container, which is called FCL. We will tell you which one is cheaper.
Can you ship to the Kish and Qeshm free zones?
Yes. The free zones have their own rules and they are often simpler than mainland imports. Tell us if your goods are for a free zone at the start, because it changes the paperwork and sometimes the cost.
What kinds of goods can you carry to Iran?
Ordinary commercial goods, machinery, spare parts, building materials, food items and household goods, subject to the checks we run on every shipment. Some categories we cannot carry. Ask us early and we will give you a clear answer.
Do you handle customs clearance in Iran?
Yes, at both ends. We handle customs clearance in Dubai and customs clearance in Iran. You do not need to find your own clearing agent.
Can you collect the goods from my supplier in Dubai?
Yes. We collect anywhere in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and the rest of the UAE. We can also hold your goods in warehousing and storage in Dubai until you are ready to ship. That helps when you are buying from several suppliers and want everything to travel to Bandar Abbas (Shahid Rajaee) in one container.
Can you ship machinery and heavy equipment to Iran?
Yes. We move project cargo to Iran as well. Big, heavy items go in open top or flat rack containers, or loose on the ship into Bandar Abbas (Shahid Rajaee). Send us the size and weight and we will work out the best way to move it.
Why do you ask so many questions on this route?
Because we have to, and because it protects you as well as us. Getting the checks right at the start means your goods are not stopped later. An operator who does not ask these questions is not being easier to deal with, they are taking a risk with your cargo.
