No, and it matters for your shipment. Norway is outside the European Union customs union, so an EU EORI number does not apply and goods are declared to Norwegian Customs through their own system. Norway does take part in the European customs security area, so advance cargo information is still required before arrival. Pages that treat Norway like Sweden are giving you the wrong process.

It is Norway’s move to require more customs information before goods reach the border rather than at it. Under the published transition plan those obligations become mandatory on 15 September 2026. In practice it means the data has to be right and complete earlier than people are used to. We handle the filing, but it does mean we ask for accurate details at booking rather than later.

Sea freight to Norway takes about 13 to 35 days, and air freight to Norway takes 2 to 7 days. One current schedule platform shows an indicative 13 day service into Oslo, which would be quick for northern Europe, but many Norwegian routings connect through a European hub and take considerably longer. We confirm what is genuinely running rather than quoting the best case. We give you a date in writing when we quote.

It depends on what you send, how big it is, and where in Norway it is going. We do not publish prices because every shipment is different. Sea freight to Norway is priced per container when you fill one, and per cubic metre when you share one. Air freight to Norway is priced on weight or size, whichever is greater. Yes, and there is one thing to know before you plan a move around it. New and used vehicles can be imported permanently, with declaration, import VAT where applicable, approval and registration. But a vehicle does not get the ordinary moving-goods customs exemption in Norway, even if the rest of your household belongings do. So the car is a separate job with its own costs. Send us the make, model, year and chassis number and we will set it out.

You can send as little as one box or one pallet. We put small shipments from different customers into one shared container. This is called LCL, or less than container load. Your goods load at Jebel Ali and come into Oslo. When you have more goods, you move up to your own full container, which is called FCL. We will tell you which one is cheaper.

Yes, at both ends. We handle customs clearance in Dubai and the Norwegian customs declaration at the other end, including the advance information Norway now requires. You do not need to find your own clearing agent.

Yes. We collect anywhere in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and the rest of the UAE. We can also hold your goods in warehousing and storage in Dubai until you are ready to ship. That helps when you are buying from several suppliers and want everything to travel to Oslo in one container.

Yes. We move project cargo to Norway as well, and Stavanger is geared to the offshore energy sector. Big, heavy items go in open top or flat rack containers, or loose on the ship. Send us the size and weight and the delivery point and we will work out the best way to move it.

Most qualifying household and personal goods can come in free of duty and VAT if you have lived abroad continuously for more than a year, have owned and used the goods, and import them within the allowed period.
