Thailand does not use one pre-shipment number for every import, so ordinary cargo is straightforward. What decides the shipment is the product. Food, medicines and cosmetics go through the Thai Food and Drug Administration. Plants and animal products need quarantine clearance. Certain industrial goods, chemicals and vehicles need permission from the department that regulates them. Your buyer applies for these in Thailand. The reason we ask at booking rather than later is that where an approval is required it is a condition of import, so it needs to exist before the goods arrive rather than be chased afterwards. Most ordinary goods need nothing beyond normal customs paperwork. Tell us what you are sending and the HS code and we will confirm what applies before you book.

Can my goods clear inland instead of at the port?
Yes. Lat Krabang is an inland container depot near Bangkok, rail linked to the port system. Containers move up from the coast rather than being trucked out of a busy terminal. For an importer based around the capital that is often quicker and easier. Tell us the delivery address and we will say whether it is worth it.
Do you deliver door to door?
Yes. We handle freight forwarding to Thailand door to door. We collect the goods in Dubai, move them, clear them through customs, and bring them to your address. You deal with one company for the whole journey.
Can I send a small shipment, or do I need a full container?
You can send as little as one box or one pallet. We put small shipments from different customers into one shared container. This is called LCL, or less than container load. Your goods load at Jebel Ali and come into Laem Chabang. When you have more goods, you move up to your own full container, which is called FCL. We will tell you which one is cheaper.
Does my product need an approval in Thailand?

Can you ship a car from Dubai to Thailand?
Not usually. Thailand restricts ordinary used passenger car imports, so a straightforward used car purchase is generally not possible. There are narrow exceptions that need permission from the Department of Foreign Trade. If you think your case is one of them, send us the make, model, year and chassis number and we will look into it before you commit.
Do you handle customs clearance in Thailand?
Yes, at both ends. We handle customs clearance in Dubai and customs clearance in Thailand. You do not need to find your own clearing agent.
Can you collect the goods from my supplier in Dubai?
Yes. We collect anywhere in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and the rest of the UAE. We can also hold your goods in warehousing and storage in Dubai until you are ready to ship. That helps when you are buying from several suppliers and want everything to travel to Laem Chabang in one container.
Can you ship machinery and heavy equipment to Thailand?
Yes. We move project cargo to Thailand as well. Big, heavy items go in open top or flat rack containers, or loose on the ship. Laem Chabang handles heavy and out of gauge cargo. Send us the size and weight and we will work out the best way to move it.
Can you move my household goods to Thailand?
Yes. We move full house moves and part loads to Thailand, including Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket. We pack, collect, move and deliver, and we handle the customs clearance so your things are not waiting on paperwork.
Do I pay duty on my household goods?
If you are genuinely moving to Thailand, reasonable quantities of used household effects can qualify for relief, subject to Thai customs conditions. Vehicles are handled separately and do not come in as household goods. Tell us your situation and we will explain what to expect.
