A vehicle imported from outside the EU must complete its customs procedure before Latvian registration, and a vehicle used in road traffic normally has to be registered within five days after import. It is the unique customs identification number used for EU customs formalities. Whoever imports the goods needs one and no customs procedure happens without it. It is quick to get, and we check it before we load.

It is the EU safety and security system. A filing called an Entry Summary Declaration has to reach EU customs before your goods arrive. The carrier files it and we supply the data.

Yes. We handle freight forwarding to Latvia door to door. We collect the goods in Dubai, move them, clear them through customs, and bring them to your address. You deal with one company for the whole journey.

You can send as little as one box or one pallet. We put small shipments from different customers into one shared container. This is called LCL, or less than container load. Your goods load at Jebel Ali and come into Riga. When you have more goods, you move up to your own full container, which is called FCL. A shared container consolidates more slowly, so on this lane the full container is often the quicker option as well as the simpler one.

Yes. We move project cargo to Latvia as well. Big, heavy items go in open top or flat rack containers, or loose on the ship. You may. Personal property can come in free of import duty and VAT when you transfer habitual residence from outside the EU. Latvia normally requires at least twelve months of previous residence outside the EU and at least six months of prior use of the property.
