Sea freight to Lithuania takes about 36 to 55 days, and air freight to Lithuania takes 1 to 4 days. Container cargo relays two or more times in Europe before the Baltic leg, which is where the time goes rather than at Klaipeda itself. We give you a date in writing when we quote.

Yes, and there is one step to get right first. A vehicle bought abroad must obtain Lithuania’s owner declaration code, the SDK, before it is imported into the country, not after it arrives. A vehicle from outside the European Economic Area also needs customs formalities and a conformity assessment before registration. Tell us early if a vehicle is involved and we will start with the SDK rather than the booking.

It depends on what you send, how big it is, and where in Lithuania it is going. We do not publish prices because every shipment is different. Sea freight to Lithuania is priced per container when you fill one, and per cubic metre when you share one. Air freight to Lithuania is priced on weight or size, whichever is greater. Send us the details and we send you a price in writing, usually the same day.

Klaipeda. It is Lithuania’s only major seaport and handles all the country’s container traffic, a record 1,308,687 containers in 2025. From there cargo moves inland by road and rail to Vilnius, Kaunas and everywhere else. If you are told your cargo is going to Vilnius by sea, it is going to Klaipeda first.

Because of how the cargo gets to the Baltic rather than anything about Klaipeda. Container cargo from Dubai relays two or more times in Europe and waits for the onward leg each time. Klaipeda itself is a substantial port handling well over a million containers a year.

Vilnius for the capital and the east. Kaunas if the delivery is in central Lithuania, because it saves the road leg from Vilnius. Tell us the delivery town and we will pick.

It is a free trading number used across the European Union. Whoever imports the goods needs one and no customs operation happens without it. It is quick to get online, and we check it before we load.

It is the EU safety and security system. A filing called an Entry Summary Declaration has to reach EU customs before your goods arrive. The carrier files it and we supply the data.

Yes. We handle freight forwarding to Lithuania door to door. We collect the goods in Dubai, move them, clear them through customs, and bring them to your address. You deal with one company for the whole journey.

You can send as little as one box or one pallet. We put small shipments from different customers into one shared container. This is called LCL, or less than container load. Your goods load at Jebel Ali and come into Klaipeda. When you have more goods, you move up to your own full container, which is called FCL. Yes, at both ends. We handle customs clearance in Dubai and customs clearance in Lithuania. You do not need to find your own clearing agent.

Yes. We collect anywhere in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and the rest of the UAE. We can also hold your goods in warehousing and storage in Dubai until you are ready to ship. On a lane this long, consolidating properly before anything sails is worth the effort.

Yes. We move project cargo to Lithuania as well. Big, heavy items go in open top or flat rack containers, or loose on the ship. Klaipeda handles substantial volume and has the inland connections to move heavy pieces on. Send us the size and weight and we will work out the best way to move it.

You may. Qualifying people transferring residence from outside the EU can import personal property free of import duties and VAT. Lithuania normally requires at least twelve continuous months of previous residence in the third country and at least six months of previous use of the goods.
