The item by item list matters, because customs clear personal effects against it. Fuel, gas cylinders, paint, aerosols and loose batteries cannot travel, and we give you the full list before packing day.

There is no single answer, and anyone giving you one is guessing. Sea freight runs about 25 to 45 days depending on the route, and cargo coming overland from a regional gateway takes about 12 to 25 days. It depends on whether the Black Sea route, the Danube ports or Constanta with a road leg is open for your cargo. We confirm which is available and give you a date in writing.

Yes, and a lot of cargo does move. Commercial services have operated through the war, but under conditions rather than normally. Carrier acceptance and war risk cover have to be confirmed for each shipment, and there are alternative routes through the Danube ports and through Constanta in Romania. We tell you what is genuinely open for your cargo before you commit.

Constanta is a full-service Black Sea port in Romania with reliable liner connections. Cargo lands there and crosses into Ukraine by road or rail. When direct Ukrainian service is unavailable, or the cargo cannot get cover, it is usually the practical answer. Most pages on this lane never mention it exists.

Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi on the Black Sea, when services are running and the carrier will accept the cargo. Reni and Izmail on the Danube are the river alternative. Constanta in Romania is the neighbouring gateway with an overland leg into Ukraine.

Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Dnipro, Lviv, Zaporizhzhia, Kryvyi Rih, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Poltava, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk and Uzhhorod. For the west, coming in through Constanta or an EU gateway is usually quicker than routing through the Black Sea.

Not currently. Ukrainian civil aviation is operating under restrictions and we could not confirm normal international air cargo service, so we are not going to advertise one. Sea and road are the routes that work.

Yes, and it is the first thing we do. The cargo, the consignee, the payment route and the end use all get screened against current sanctions and export control rules before anything is booked. On this lane that check is the real gate, and it sits at the start rather than at the border.

Yes. We do car shipping to Ukraine, and used cars can be imported. Two things to know. A preliminary customs declaration is required before the vehicle is imported, so it cannot be arranged after arrival. And current customs guidance is that used passenger vehicles must meet at least Euro 2 environmental requirements. We could not confirm a maximum age limit. Send us the make, model, year and chassis number and we will check.

Yes, where the destination allows it. We handle freight forwarding to Ukraine, collect the goods in Dubai, move them by whichever route is open, clear them and deliver. We confirm the delivery leg with you rather than assuming it, because conditions differ across the country.

You can send as little as one pallet. We put small shipments from different customers into one shared container. This is called LCL, or less than container load. When you have more goods, you move up to your own full container, which is called FCL. We will tell you which one is cheaper on the route that is open.

Yes, at both ends. We handle customs clearance in Dubai and customs clearance in Ukraine. You do not need to find your own clearing agent.

Yes. We collect anywhere in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and the rest of the UAE. We can also hold your goods in warehousing and storage in Dubai while the routing is confirmed. On this lane that is worth using, because it is better for cargo to wait in Dubai than to sit at a border.

Yes. We move project cargo to Ukraine as well, and generators, machinery and industrial parts are a lot of what goes. Big, heavy items go in open top or flat rack containers, or loose on the ship. Send us the size and weight and the delivery city and we will work out the best route.

Personal belongings and household goods can fall under separate customs treatment depending on residency and the specific goods, but we could not confirm a single returning-national concession we would be willing to publish.
